World of Tanks T57 Heavy - 8 Kills 11,1K Damage (1 VS 5)

The T57 Heavy Tank is an American tier 10 heavy tank.

A project for a heavy tank with an oscillating turret and automatic loader, developed from 1951. Experimental turrets for 120 mm and 155 mm guns were manufactured by 1957. However, the project was deemed unsuccessful and development was discontinued.

The T57 Heavy Tank is a tier X heavy tank in the American tech tree and unlike the T110E5, the T57 is armed with a 4 round auto loader. Apart from that and the slow aim time, the T57's gun is nearly the same as the T110E5's one. Its armor isn't as good as that of the T110E5, but it can bounce shots if angled correctly. The reload on this tank is really outstanding, only needing about 22 seconds to load the magazine and about a 2 second delay between shots, giving the gun amazing burst and DPM potential. Use the quick clip reload to your advantage and help your team deal massive damage to the enemy and this tank will be a force to be reckoned with.


The T57 Heavy Tank marks the end of its American heavy line.

World of Tanks Leopard 1 - 5 Kills 10,6K Damage

The Leopard 1 is a German tier 10 medium tank.

Main battle tank of the Federal Republic of Germany. Development was started in 1956. The first prototypes were built in 1965 at the Krauss-Maffei factory. The Leopard 1 saw service in the armies of more than 10 countries.

The Leopard 1 is the final advancement of medium tank tactics; with speed rivaling that of the Bat Chatillon 25 t, excellent View Range and deadly gun with good depression and a decent rate of fire, this tank is meant to never miss a shot, it's so versatile that along with sniping it can also take on passive scouting, flanking, support, and on occasion brawling.

Of course, like all tanks, it has a downside: the armor is almost as weak as the Bat Chatillon 25 t, so even HE splashes will cripple it severely. Staying mobile is a key to this tank, while only staying still to shoot and then moving right away. Also, the ammunition Rack is stored in the front next to the driver, so it will get hit often if not careful.

The Leopard 1 marks the end of its German medium line.

World of Tanks KV-5 - 10 Kills 7,1K Damage

The KV-5 is a Soviet tier 8 premium heavy tank.

Development began in June 1941 at the Leningrad Kirov Plant and was completed by August, but plans were interrupted due to the complicated situation on the front. The KV-5 was to utilize some components of the KV-1. A new turret was designed, incorporating the 107-mm ZIS-6 gun. Two roadwheels and a single support roller were to be added on each side. A new 1,200 h.p. diesel engine was being developed for the vehicle, however it was not completed in time and was replaced with two V-2K engines.

This tank is known for its many weakspots as well as its impotent but fast-firing 107 ZiS-6M. It's surprisingly fast for a heavy tank, which tends to come in handy when you fail to pen your opponents.

Being extremely heavy and featuring a high top speed enables ramming of other tanks - adding to the damage output.

The KV-5 was buffed in 9.2. This buff was received badly by the community, and largely viewed as a pointless attempt at improving things that were fine while failing to address the core issues. This is in large part due to the KV-5's status as a 'veteran tank', that unlike the Type 59 has yet to see any competitive buffs.

There are many weak spots on this tank, which even after buffs to the armor model (9.2) means that you'll bounce close to nothing in an 'aimed brawl'. There are also a lot of flat surfaces of the turret. Granted that your extremely non-meta penetration values (both for AP and APCR) allows you to do anything but ding your opponent, the KV-5 can certainly be a force to be reckoned with. Just not against T9s, or even most T8 heavies. Or hulldown medium tanks, for that matter. Oh, and you probably won't spot any 'vision gaming' tank destroyers either.

In short, the KV-5 is an Swiss cheese roadblock that can work well if it doesn't face any armour. Does fit an aggressive playstyle rather well, but not worth your hard-earned money. This tank was removed from the in game store with the introduction of version 0.7.5.

World of Tanks IS-5 (Object 730) - 6 Kills 7,2K Damage

The IS-5 (Object 730) is a Soviet tier 8 premium heavy tank.

The development of the vehicle was started in 1949 by the Design Bureau of the Chelyabinsk Kirov Plant under the supervision of Joseph Kotin. In 1950 a preproduction batch of 10 vehicles was launched. After the vehicle underwent all trials and received upgrades, it was adopted for service in 1953 under the designation IS-8.
